James Murray

Managing Director

James has more than a decade of integrated PR & communication experience across corporate and consumer channels, spanning brand strategy, PR, executive profiling and issues management. James has experience leading the communication and strategy for a diverse portfolio of global and local businesses, having worked closely with organisations including PepsiCo, Allianz, Kellogg, Philips, LG, Optus and Mastercard. Prior to joining FCR, James was a senior director with global firm FleishmanHillard and a communications advisor focused on financial and investor communication activities and crisis management for a number of well-known local and international brands.

Ashley Rambukwella

Head of Investor Relations, Board Member

Ashley has more than 20 years of experience providing strategic communication counsel on reputation management, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, media relations and crisis management to clients in a wide range of sectors. Prior to joining FCR in 2004 from a leading public relations agency, he worked with the Olympic Co‑ordination Authority and the Institution of Engineers, Australia. Ashley was educated at Sydney University and has completed business courses at the Australian Graduate School of Management and Finsia’s masters of applied finance.

Mark Sheedy

Head of Production

Mark has over 36 years’ experience in corporate design and production. Before joining FCR, he was an integral member of Wellcom’s design studio for over three years, working at Westpac’s head office. This role included design requirements for all Westpac brands. He has also worked on projects for many financial and insurance companies. Mark has strong organisational skills and great attention to detail, as well as in-depth knowledge of production technology. He has extensive experience of design, layout, typography and photography for prospectuses, takeover documents, annual reports, corporate brochures, product disclosure statements, magazines, retail catalogues and point-of-sale material.

Jo Yuen

Creative Lead

Jo has 25 years’ experience as a graphic designer in Sydney and London, managing a wide range of corporate projects, including annual reports, other collateral, websites and corporate identities, for multi-national and national organisations. She has well developed creative skills and adopts a strategic approach to all projects. Since joining FCR, Jo has been responsible for our graphic design, including annual reports, prospectuses, investor presentations and websites. She has a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from the University of South Australia.

Emma-Jaye Bernhardt

Head of Social

Emma-Jaye is a highly experienced social media specialist, with more than a decade of experience working across some of the world’s biggest B2B and B2C brands, including Westpac Group and Brookfield Asset Management. Emma-Jaye has an intimate knowledge of the social media landscape and its idiosyncrasies, building dynamic programs to effectively deliver social excellence, while adapting to this ever-changing landscape.

Ali Cain

Senior Consultant, Media Trainer

Ali joined FCR in 1998 as a financial communication consultant, before becoming a financial journalist, and today she assists FCR with media skills training. She writes regularly for the Australian Financial Review, the Sydney Morning Herald and Asset magazine and is editor of Finsia’s inFinance magazine. She has written for CFO, CEO magazine (UK and US), Finance Director Europe (UK) and Pensions and Investments (US). She has recorded numerous video interviews on finance topics for Yahoo!7 and coauthored two business books with David Koch. Ali holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Master of Arts in Communication Management from UTS.

Lina Tjang

Head of Finance

Lina is responsible for FCR’s day-to-day accounting and also assists with administrative matters. She joined the company in 1997 after accounting roles for a range of businesses in Sydney and Indonesia. Lina has an Associate Diploma of Accounting from Sydney Institute of Technology.

Elizabeth Williams

Office Manager

Elizabeth provides administrative support to the consultancy team. Before joining FCR, she spent three years in the legal department of BNP Paribas, following 11 years with two ASX-listed resources companies. Elizabeth has undertaken a course in editing and proofreading at the University of Sydney Centre for Continuing Education and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Information Technology at Charles Sturt University.

Anthony Tregoning

Founder/Chairman

Anthony established FCR in 1985. He counsels clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region on communication strategy, investor relations, corporate reputation, and issues and crisis management. Previously, he operated a media consultancy which represented the Financial Times and other leading financial publications in Australia, after spending three years as chief executive of an international trade finance company. Earlier, he was the director responsible for international educational publishing and marketing for the Macmillan Publishing Group, with which he worked for 12 years. In this role he was a director of companies in the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Anthony was educated at Grenoble University and in 2021 was elected a Life Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.

Brian Mahoney

Board Member

Brian, a director of FCR since 1987, has almost 40 years’ experience in corporate and financial communication as a public relations consultant, and previously as a senior finance journalist and columnist with The Australian and Sunday Telegraph. He has managed media and investor relations, corporate reputation and issues management projects for companies in many industry sectors, particularly financial services, property and resources. Brian is a past NSW president of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and in 2016 was elected a Life Fellow of the institute.

Eveline Wan

Board Member

With SPRG since 1997, Eveline has assisted the Group’s regional expansion, including establishing five offices in Guangzhou, Taipei, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Eveline coordinates the interaction between SPRG and its network of international affiliates in over 165 cities and countries and is also the primary contact for new business enquiries including referrals from partners/clients, responsible for pairing new business opportunities with SPRG member companies. Eveline has handled various IPO communication programmes and investor relations campaigns and experienced in organising roadshows for clients in Asia. She has devised large-scale marketing communication programmes for corporate clients in China and Hong Kong, including semi-government organisations and professional institutions, as well as key players in such industries as civil aviation, hospitality, automobile, property, banking, insurance and M.I.C.E.

Richard Tsang

Board Member

Richard Tsang founded SPRG in 1995. Through his guidance and foresight, SPRG is among the largest integrated PR networks in the Asia Pacific. Determined to also make a difference in the PR industry and the community, Richard holds over 80 board, committee and advisory positions in over 40 business, religious, education, governmental and non-governmental organisations, even becoming the first Asian to chair Public Relations Organisation International (“PROI Worldwide”), the world’s largest network of independent communications agencies.
