Mosaic Brands Limited, Australia’s leading women’s retail fashion group, will this week start sending more than 100,000 units of women’s clothing to communities in Australia’s eastern states which suffered losses in recent bush fires.
The clothing has been donated by all Mosaic’s nine retail brands, which include Millers, W Lane, Noni B, Rivers, Katies, Autograph, Rockmans, Crossroads and beme. It will be distributed by the GIVIT Charity, which is supporting families directly affected by the bush fires.
In addition, Mosaic Brands has made a monetary donation of $50,000 to the St Vincent de Paul Bush Fire Appeal.
Scott Evans, Mosaic Brands’ CEO, said: “Clothing is something that we often take for granted, but for the hundreds of Australians who have lost their homes, clean clothes are a luxury. Our team members and stores have strong relationships with their communities – especially in many of the regions affected by the bush fires – and we hope these donations will help those who have suffered loss as they rebuild their lives.”
