Rapidly growing Australian non-bank lender Brighten Home Loans (‘Brighten’) has partnered with mortgage technology company Simpology to provide its broker partners and customers with a simpler, faster and more environmentally sustainable home loan experience.
Brighten Head of Distribution Natalie Sheehan announced today Brighten had completed the integration of Simpology’s e-lodgement tool Loanapp into its proprietary cloud-based loan origination technology platform.
This means that mortgage brokers are now able to instantly submit and lodge loan applications with Brighten via an online intuitive interface that results in higher-quality loan submissions needing less re-work, faster loan approval times and streamlined business operations.
“At Brighten, we are always finding ways to give brokers greater opportunity to help more customers. We strive to offer our partners and customers a superior service proposition assisted through our innovative technology capabilities, and we want to enable our brokers to do the same for their clients. ” said Sheehan.
Adding to Sheehan’s comments, Brighten Head of Lending Operations Jason Ford said Loanapp’s built-in communication and workflow tools, such as info requests, support the direct flow of information between a broker and customer at different steps of the application process. This means that customers can directly upload supporting documents requested by the broker via the platform. In addition, the platform is also integrated with digital documentation tools, including DocuSign, to enable brokers and customers to digitally sign upfront loan documents.
“Brighten had embraced innovation and technology ever since its inception four years ago. With this latest development we now provide a complete end-to-end digitalised application experience from the very first step of the submission all the way to settlement and, importantly, one that is more environmentally sustainable. Sustainability has always been a strong focus and a key pillar of Brighten’s culture and this partnership plays a vital role in supporting the reduction of paper-based documentation requirements.” Ford said.
Simpology CEO and Founder, Kate Gubbins said: “We are delighted to have formed a partnership with an innovative lender like Brighten who shares the same passion in driving digital transformation and technological advancements in the lending industry. We look forward to working with Brighten to develop new ideas and technologies to provide intuitive, tailored and easy to use lending solutions to support their origination partners.”
